The Children’s Peace Center, opened in 1998, is a non-profit corporation dedicated to increasing the spirit of peace within children, and to enrich their lives through creative self-expression.  A Children’s Peace and Memorial Garden at the Cathedral of the Incarnation was created in memory of children that have been killed each year in Baltimore City due to street violence, and to offer a space for contemplation and healing.  The Center is currently working on satellite sites in inner city Baltimore to further reach out to urban neighborhoods in need of such sacred spaces.
